Inspecverse ("we," "us," or "this site") is a lead-referral directory for New York home and commercial property inspection services. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our inspection request form, why we collect it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us with questions.
What
Only what you submit through the “Get a Quote” form. No account is required.
Who
The site operator, and the inspector your request is routed to so they can follow up.
Never
Sold, or shared with third parties for their own marketing. We do not currently use third-party analytics.
Information we collect
We collect information only when you voluntarily submit it through our “Get a Quote” inspection request form.
For every request, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The property address, city, and county
- Whether you selected the residential or commercial track, the type of inspection or service you're interested in, and your general timing (e.g., ASAP, within a few weeks, or just researching)
- The page you submitted the request from
If you submit a commercial request, we also collect your company name, asset type (e.g., office, retail, multifamily), the type of transaction (e.g., pre-purchase due diligence, refinance), and any scope notes you provide describing what you need.
How we use your information
When you submit the form, your information is saved to our database with a status of “new” so our team can review it and route it to a suitable local inspector.
We use your information solely to respond to your request and connect you with inspection services in your area.
Who receives your information
Information you submit is received by the Inspecverse site operator for manual review and routing. We may share your request details with an inspector we route it to so they can follow up with you.
How long we keep your information
We have not yet adopted a fixed retention schedule. In practice, we retain request information only for as long as needed to process your request and route it to an inspector.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Contact below), and we will do so unless we need to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason. If you would like a specific retention timeframe in writing, contact us and we will provide one.
How we protect your information
Information you submit is stored in our database and is not publicly displayed or exposed on the site. Access is limited to site operators who need it to review and route requests.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable, standard precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access.
Cookies and analytics
Inspecverse does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy to name the service and describe what it collects.
The site does use two cookies required for it to function: a session cookie, which keeps the request form working as you move between steps and expires after a period of inactivity, and an XSRF-TOKEN cookie, which protects our forms against cross-site request forgery. Neither cookie is used for advertising or to track you across other websites.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by contacting us using the information below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
