Inspecverse is a referral directory, not an inspection company

We do not employ, supervise, train, or directly oversee the inspectors listed in our directory. Every inspector you may be connected with through this site operates their own independent business, sets their own prices, and is solely responsible for the quality, scope, and findings of any inspection they perform.

We don't guarantee licensure, insurance, or work quality

Listing an inspector in our directory is not a certification, endorsement, or guarantee by Inspecverse that the inspector is currently licensed, insured, or qualified to perform any specific inspection. New York State requires home inspectors to hold a current license issued by the Department of State's Division of Licensing Services.

NACHI membership, which the inspectors in our directory's source data carry, is a separate, voluntary credential and is not the same thing as an active New York State license.

Content on this site is general information, not professional advice

Our buyer guides, county and city pages, cost ranges, and FAQ content are written for general educational purposes. They are not a substitute for advice from a licensed inspector, attorney, real estate professional, or other qualified expert about your specific property or transaction.

No outcome is guaranteed

Submitting a request through Inspecverse does not guarantee that an inspector will be available in your area, that you will be contacted within any specific timeframe, or that any inspection will take place. Response times, pricing, and availability are determined entirely by the independent inspectors in our directory, not by Inspecverse.

Disputes are between you and the inspector

Any disagreement about the price, scope, quality, timing, or findings of an inspection is a matter between you and the inspector who performed it. Inspecverse is not a party to that engagement and is not responsible for resolving disputes arising from it.

If you have a concern about an inspector you were connected with through our directory, we encourage you to raise it directly with them, and you're welcome to let us know as well so we can review their listing.

This disclaimer works alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy — together, these three pages explain what Inspecverse does, what it doesn't do, and how we handle your information.
