Our commitment
Inspecverse aims to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard alone, or rely on other assistive technology.
What we've done
Specific, concrete steps taken on this site:
- Every photo on the site has descriptive alt text, not a filename or a generic placeholder
- Interactive elements (the mobile menu, the FAQ accordions, the lead request form) carry ARIA labels so a screen reader announces what they do
- Text and background color combinations are checked against WCAG's minimum contrast ratios (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text) rather than chosen on appearance alone
- The site works at different zoom levels and screen widths without content being cut off or overlapping
- Headings follow a logical order (one H1 per page, nested H2s and H3s) so screen reader users can navigate by heading structure
Known limitations
We haven't yet run a full third-party accessibility audit, and some pages — particularly the Livewire-powered request form — have not been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.
If you encounter a real barrier using this site with assistive technology, we want to know about it specifically (see below), not just hear that something is generally wrong.
Report an accessibility issue
If you run into a specific accessibility problem on this site — a page that doesn't work with your screen reader, a control you can't reach by keyboard, text you can't read because of contrast — please tell us what page you were on and what happened, by emailing [email protected].
